Altabel on a tour round Scandinavia.
The third decade of September was marked for Altabel by a business promotion tour round Scandinavian countries, more specifically Finland, Norway, and Denmark.
The primary and basic purpose of the trip was to survey the situation in the Scandinavian IT market, to get acquainted with the latest IT innovations and IT development process in general. It should also be specified, that as Altabel is a relatively young company, so at present all its efforts are aimed at accumulating experience and engaging new customers and partners.
Based on its geographical position Altabel, headquarted in Vilnius, made a decision to start its business tour from Scandinavian countries. The whole trip lasted seven days. Over this period Altabel representatives made a business visit to numerous IT companies in Helsinki, Copenhagen, and Oslo.
The highly topical trip program provided maximum opportunities for interaction and continuous networking between Altabel and Scandinavian IT companies. The discussions of project management systems, content management and embedded solutions were high on the agenda. As a result of numerous discussions and negotiations Altabel concluded, that Scandinavian countries are one of the most active and open to IT off-shore outsourcing offers. Outsourcing is really in great demand in Scandinavia, which represents great opportunities for Altabel as one of the leading service suppliers in the Baltic region. Altabel IT experts have enough experience to meet the demands of the IT sector in Scandinavia. Outsourcing also means increased focus on operation management. The demand for wireless technology is increasing which is expected to drive infrastructure investments, new services and service level innovations for the coming years.
Assessing the results of this business trip, Altabel states, it really paid off. Altabel is deeply convinced that this trip would provide a foothold in the Scandinavian IT market and get new long-term contacts.
